Risk-Taking Decision-Making in Cerebellar Ataxia

The development of impulsive and compulsive behaviors might be one of the unique behavioral symptoms of cerebellar ataxia (CA).
The results of participants with CA never matched the control group's performance in a task assessing the decision-making process associated with risky behaviors. However, it did not correlate with ataxia severity or depressive symptoms.
